Besides being a successful real estate broker, Jose Maria has more than 20 years of experience as an accountant and financial manager. The Chicago native, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northeastern University with an emphasis on accounting, is also fluent in Spanish.

Before joining BankREOs, he held several high-profile positions exhibiting his accounting, financial analysis and property management skills. As director of accounting and financial reporting for Donald S. Samuelson & Associates, he was instrumental in the company’s management and redevelopment of eight Chicago Housing Authority properties and two assisted-living developments for seniors.
Jose Maria Rodriguez also was a management consultant and financial analyst for Local Initiatives Support Corp., a non-profit organization providing Federal Housing Administration grants, loans and investments for neighborhood redevelopment programs in Midwest cities.
